One in ten Louisiana adults are considered digitally illiterate, meaning they are unable to find information through online platforms even as more commerce, news and entertainment require such technological skills to access. Despite the statistic, LaSalle Parish was named one of the top three most digitally proficient parishes in the state at 13.5% along with Cameron (13%) and Livingston (13.3%).
