The LaSalle Parish Police Jury met for a special session on June 30 to consider a resolution concerning the Catahoula National Wildlife Refuge as well as approve changes to a fire district. During the meeting, the Jury adopted Resolution 2022-010, with seven yeas, zero nays and three absent, to authorize and support the submission of an application to seek funding from the Federal Lands Access Program for the “Catahoula National Wildlife Refuge Improvements” Infrastructure Project in the unincorporated area of LaSalle Parish.
