Roadwork nearby and in front of LaSalle High School and the LaSalle Parish Library-Olla Branch was completed last week by the LaSalle Parish Police Jury. The LaSalle Parish School Board extended that work this week by tying in the newly paved road with a new parking lot constructed in front of the school and gymnasium in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Jena approved for road reconstruction funds
Town of Jena Mayor LaDawn Edwards announced that the town was approved for $786,962.00 to reconstruct residential roadways in two target areas through the 2022 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG) Public Facilities application.
