Local man arrested after school break-in

A 47-year-old Jena man is facing charges following a break-in on July 4 at Goodpine Middle School in the Goodpine community. LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to GPMS that day in reference to a break-in, and after reviewing surveillance footage, they identified the person responsible as Dexter Savage, 47, of Jena.
