Tullos Mayor Karla Cockerham announced that unfortunately the town did not receive funding for sewer improvement through the 2022 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG). She said the top 19 projects were awarded a grant and Tullos was ranked #20, so the town narrowly missed being funded. She also said their priority for funding seems to be shifting more toward road construction and improvement instead of water and sewer improvement, but that the town still has a chance at funding.
