Reflections from the past . . .

Sue Winberry of Tullos recently located a picture and submitted for publication. The picture is the 1954 LaSalle High School football team and on the back is stamped Brewer’s Graphic, Drawer 831, Alexandria, LA. Most of the young men have been identified with a few first names missing and some probably still have family living in the area. Members of the team include: front row, left to right, Jimmy Taylor, Kenneth Winberry, Julian Keene, Jerry King, Jay May, Harold Keene, Aubrey McCartney, Charles Gilmore, Oliver Hollenshead and Lynn Russell; second row, l to r, Coach Philip White, Bill Nethery, Charles Tannehill, Carlton Winberry, Douglas Winberry, Blake Sims, Carlton King, Charles Smith, Nathan Cabiness and Mike Gaines; third row, l to r, Coach Bill Walters, Sonny Williams, Cary Smith, Bob Brooks, Richard Tannehill, Bud Brady, Tom Nethery, ?
