One of the main topics of discussion at the LaSalle Parish School Board’s regular meeting last week centered on student safety in preparation for thenew school year. LaSalle Parish Transportation Supervisor Glen Joiner led the conversation that revolved around the Safe Schools Louisiana Program and an app developed as a collaborative effort between the Governor’s Office, Louisiana State Police and Crimestoppers.
