Writer wins big at outdoors conference

Glynn Harris of Ruston, a long-time outdoors writer for The Jena Times, was the recipient of several top awards at the Louisiana Outdoor Writers Association’s annual conference in Thibodaux. During their Excellence in Craft Award Ceremony for outdoors-based media, he received first and third place awards for articles he wrote for area newspapers in 2021.
