Start piling up millstones

When my church is between pastors, it is up to the elder of the month to get a speaker for church on Sunday. Several years ago, when we were in such a situation, our speaker for the week was one of the men from the regional office in Ruston. He had filled the pulpit before, and was an entertaining and educated speaker, and a favorite of our congregation. After his sermon that day, I was talking to him about the state of our culture and the changes that we had seen in the last twenty years. I told him to be ready to face the fact that pedophilia was going to be one of the next big pushes from the anti-Christian radicals in our country. He laughed and said, “That will never happen in America!”
