Johnny Wayne “Big John” Aycock, 54, of Urania, passed from this life August 28, 2022, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was born in Columbia on October 7, 1967, to the union of his parents, Cecil Earnest Aycock and Arzelia Victoria Gough Aycock. Big John loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and camping out. He drove a log truck for a living never tired of driving through the countryside looking out at the beauty of all the different trees, flowers, lakes, and wildlife he saw. He was a moma’s baby who loved his family deeply, enjoying getting everyone together to visit and to eat. He loved and spoiled his dog “JoJo” and his moma’s bird “Earnie.”
