LaSalle Parish jobless rate for August remains second lowest in the state at 2.4 percent, trailing behind Cameron Parish who has 2.3 percent and has led for the past three months. For the month of August, the unemployment rate for LaSalle Parish was 2.4 percent, down from 2.9 percent for the month of July.
