Brooke Warren, Bailee Kelly and Ty Brown paint a piece of collaborative artwork shaped like a wheel with a logging and forestry theme during the # thrive Arts Painting and Drawing: Collaborative Art after-school program at the recreational hall in Urania. Students who attended the program two days a week worked on a variety of projects using watercolor, interrelated drawing techniques, texture and shading and more. Youth arts, tech fall programs held locally
For the fall series, the Strand Village Project offered and is offering two art and one tech after-school programs for youth in 6th to 12th grades in Jena and Urania. The Painting and Drawing: Portraiture, Pottery, Metal Embossing & More! program is offered in Jena with instruction by Angela Smith and the Painting and Drawing: Collaborative Art program is offered in Urania with instruction by Kim Aldrich.
