Jena High School Drama Club member Coben Willis greets Jena Elementary Pre-Kindergartners during lunch as a special guest for National School Lunch Week last week. The JHS Drama Club dressed in various costumes to serve lunch and visit with students on Friday. Other guests during the week were the Jena firefighters and police and the JHS football players, cheerleaders, Gold Dusters and band members. (See more photos inside this edition.)

Olla Council discusses vandalism, homecoming
Town of Olla Mayor Rhonda Elliott informed the Council at their regular meeting last week of the ongoing vandalism at the Dixie Center Courtyard in downtown Olla. She said there has been extensive damage to the furniture in the courtyard by those using the courtyard for other purposes than intended.
