Today this is the choice many of our fellow Americans up north are facing. How cold does it get up north? I talked to one man who lived in Minnesota when the temperature reached -55 degrees. Now that is cold! A few years ago ice storms in the Boston area caused gutters to freeze solid and rain water having nowhere else to go flowed into houses. Weird! One man while living in Wisconsin in the late 60’s had his car frozen to the concrete. It took several men to rock the car free so he could drive it.
