Hundreds of Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes were loaded up in a trailer outside of First Baptist Church in Jena. The church serves as the relay center for the shoeboxes from LaSalle Parish. The total shoeboxes collected this year from local churches, schools and individuals totaled 2,000 boxes.
