The Combat Infantryman Badge for Excellent Performance of Duty Under Enemy Fire in Korea recently was awarded to PFC Erma Myles, whose wife, Dorothy, lives in Trout. He is a member of the 25th Infantry Division, which entered the fighting in Korea in July, 1950, shortly after the communist attack on South Korea.
