Reflections of the Past
While the mercury tumbled and there was little indication that a traditional “white Christmas” was forthcoming, downtown Jena donned a part of its colorful Christmas garb this week. Countless colored lights - red, green, blue and yellow – strung back and forth across Oak Street and side streets, were turned on Wednesday evening and their warm glow brought Christmas much nearer to the hearts and minds of young and old alike.
