LaSalle Parish Library patron Hailey Wiley hands books to Circulation Desk Supervisor Anna Spence to check out last week at the main branch in Jena. Library usage for the third quarter of 2022 is still rising, according to LaSalle Library Director Andrea Book, even after a 40-percent increase in 2021. Book and the library board feel the newly opened library in Jena has played an important role in the increased numbers.
