The LaSalle Parish School Board elected new officers during their first meeting of the new year last Monday night, January 9th, along with taking care of routine business. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the 2022-2023 LaSalle Parish Students of the Year followed by Transportation Supervisor Glen Joiner presenting their awards: Elementary Student of the Year: Ceanna Benandi, Fellowship Elementary School, fifth grade; Junior High Student of the Year: Rylee Masters, Jena Jr.
