On February 13, a Urania Police Officer observed a violation on a white Buick car travelling south on US Hwy 165, according to Urania Chief of Police Floyd Peavy. The officer attempted to stop the car, but it refused to stop travelling at approximately 90 mph.
A Tullos Police Officer clocked the vehicle at 108 mph as it passed by while still travelling south toward Grant Parish. The pursuit came into the Georgetown city limits, and as a Georgetown Police Unit pulled out, the car made a left turn and proceeded back north on US Hwy 165 toward Tullos.
With Urania, Tullos and Georgetown units now in pursuit and coming back into Tullos, the car attempted to hit the front of the Georgetown PD unit.
