Jena couple honored as state’s top ten longest-married couples

Burl and Mary (Martin) Clark of Jena were honored by Governor John Bel Edwards and Louisiana Family Forum as one of the 2023 Top Ten Longest Married Couples in the state of Louisiana. The Clarks will celebrate their 77th wedding anniversary on March 10. They received a king cake and proclamation from Governor John Bel Edwards recognizing their lifetime of dedication to one another. (See story and more photos inside this edition.)
