The Jena Town Council met Monday, March 6 in a brief but productive meeting with Mayor LaDawn Edwards and all members in attendance. During the meeting, Mayor Edwards shared the Sale Tax report noting that tax collections dropped from January 2022 collections of $127,03.89 to January 2023 collections of $85,326.59, a decrease of $41,677.30.
