The Louisiana Right to Life RV is making its way through the entire state of Louisiana educating and encouraging the general public about keeping Louisiana a pro-life state. The RV visited the town of Jena on March 16.
The Louisiana Right to Life staff would like thank all who participated in the Jena stop as well as Mayor LaDawn Edwards who helped them secure a location and a place for the RV in Jena.
The tour focuses on helping moms from conception to birth and throughout the process of either adoption or caring for their newborn. Louisiana Right to Life focuses on being a voice for the unborn child. Additionally the education was to offer support to all moms through the help of pregnancy centers and women’s resource centers to help with the needs that come with having a child.
The main goal of Louisiana Right to Life is protecting life from the womb to the tomb with no exceptions. During the tour, the staff has been blessed with several testimonies from numerous individuals about their experience with either failed abortions, adoptions and the trauma that abortions cause for many years for the individual who chose terminating a pregnancy in lieu of carrying their unborn child to term.
Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year the State of Louisiana has been able to shut down all abortion clinics in our state. Of course, this was a huge win for all ProLife supporters everywhere.
Since then Louisiana has still had a staggering amount of abortions in our state, most from the epidemic of abortion pills that are being shipped into our state illegally. Sadly, there is very little that can be done to regulate the federal mail system to prevent these drugs from entering our state, which is the main reason Louisiana Right to Life has embarked on this journey to travel the state to educate as many people as possible to contact their local legislators to voice their opinion about the upcoming congressional session to consider their opinion and votes on any abortion issues that may arise!
