The skies throughout LaSalle Parish have been filled with beautiful butterflies of late, as third graders have been releasing their classroom butterfly projects into the wild. The Butterfly Project, sponsored by Resource Management Services (RMS) in conjunction with the Busy Bee Home & Garden Club of Jena and the Olla Pinewood Garden Club, saw boxes filled with cocooned caterpillars placed into the classrooms of third graders as part of an annual project to promote the environment.
