Sitting around and listening to my daddy tell tales from his youth is a treat that I relish. At eighty-five years of age, he has breached the wide divide between modern times and yesteryear’s lore. It’s hard to imagine the level of change that has taken place in his lifetime but his stories lend some understanding.
