Dear Editor, I found it painful as I read your article in The Jena Times where our LaSalle Parish School Board unanimously passed the most historic school policy since schools added the 12th grade back in 1947. I have been very vocal about my opposition to a 4-day school week and have written several articles on Facebook stating my opposition and gave what I consider valid reasons.
