Excuse me, I meant to say murder. If, like me you watched the Alex Murdaugh trial from a South Carolina courtroom, you may have worried about him beating the murder charges. He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder for gruesomely killing his wife and youngest son. He shot his wife multiple times with a high profile rifle and used a shotgun with buckshot at close range to kill his son, Paul. Anytime a defendant takes the stand in his own defense you know things are not going well for them. He got his lawyers to question him first about his incredible lying, stealing, fraud and other theft from many different people. He also brought up his unbelievable opioid drug problem blaming all of these crimes on the drugs. It is so much easier that way and other criminals also use drugs to explain their criminal behavior.
