LaSalle Baptist Association Ministry Director Carl Gulde blows the shofar three times to begin the National Day of Prayer event in Jena. Several LaSalle Parish ministers and residents gathered in Jena and Olla last Thursday, May 4, to join with an estimated two million others across the nation for the annual National Day of Prayer event.
