The Urania Town Council adopted two new ordinances to update their misdemeanor fines and penalties during their regular monthly meeting on May 1. Prior to the start of the meeting, a public hearing was held on the ordinances, the first setting a penalty for contempt of court and the second restructuring their entire fine schedule.
