Major problems with the Manifest-Rhinehart Water System have caused much controversy over the past three months but according to Louisiana State Senator Glen Womack, the problems have a silver lining to the tune of 10-million dollars of free money for an almost entirely new system. “It’s a bad thing that the Manifest-Rhinehart water wells went down but it’s a good thing because it allows that system to be completely rebuilt with new water wells, storage tanks, meters and more with free federal money from the state,” Womack said.
