Samantha Manning, Guidance Counselor at Jena High School, announced the following scholarship recipients in the Class of 2023 during graduation ceremonies at JHS on Friday, May 12, 2023. Ashlyn Rose Alexander: Caroline Bradford Memorial Scholarship for $500; Kristy Martin Memorial Scholarship for $800; LaSalle Parish Scholars Award for $300; Northwestern State University Outstanding Student Award, President’s Honor Scholarship and Academic Excellence Scholarship for $5,600; University of Louisiana at Monroe Academic Merit Award for $14,000.
