For 21 consistent years, Central Louisiana Area Health Education Center (Central LA AHEC) has collaborated with LaSalle General Hospital, Hardtner Medical Center, and LaSalle Parish School Board to bring the “A-HEC of a Summer” program to students in the area. Selected high school students volunteer at LaSalle General Hospital and Hardtner Medical Center for 15 days during the summer.
