Hixson Brothers Funeral Homes was established in 1907 in Alexandria, Louisiana by Ed and Jim Hixson. Today, Hixson Brothers remains a family-owned business. We serve central Louisiana with locations in Alexandria, Pineville, Jena and Marksville. The Jena branch was originally opened on Third Street in 1946 and moved to its current location on U.S. Hwy 84 West in 1972. The funeral home in Jena includes two staterooms, a chapel with a large seating capacity, an arrangement office to meet with families, a business office and a spacious coffee room.
