One Less Cent in Parish Sales Tax

In case you haven’t noticed, July 1st ushered in a new, lower total for LaSalle Parish sales taxes. Due to the LaSalle Parish School Board’s 2008 one-cent sales tax expiring on June 30, 2023, collection of that one-cent seized, allowing the total amount of parish sales tax to decrease by a penny.
