With the start of school and qualifying for the Oct. 14th election held this week, along with football season just around the corner, things in LaSalle Parish are about to get extremely busy. As a community newspaper, we relish this time of year. Typically, the summer months are slower than others and it allows us a chance to catch our breath (although we noticed that this summer has been busier than usual). With the start of school and the “official” start of the fall election, we know that things are really about to take off in regards to activities in the parish.
