LaSalle Assessor Tom Kendrick fills out qualifying paperwork as instructed by La-Salle Clerk of Court Steve Andrews last Tuesday morning, August 8. Kendrick and Andrews went unopposed to continue serving in their positions for another term.

Candidates Qualify

Qualifying for the fall election was held last week setting the stage for several races in LaSalle Parish and across the state. When the books were closed last Thursday, six candidates qualified for LaSalle Parish Sheriff and 26 candidates qualified for various seats on the La Salle Parish Police Jury.
