While the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s race is perhaps the biggest on the ballot for this parish October 14, there is another race that will be just as big across five parishes, including LaSalle. The Louisiana State Representative District 20 seat will see Incumbent Neil Riser (R) of Caldwell Parish face a challenger in Franklin Parish pastor Kevin Bates (R).
