The Legendary Vocalist: Ron Carr

The New Evergreen Baptist Church has been blessed with the voice of Ron Carr since he was three years old. Carr shares that he is the youngest member of the church choir but heâs been in the choir longer than any other present member!

“God said for us to make a joyful noise to Him, and I give my voice to God,” explained Ron Carr, lifelong Good Pine native and gospel singer. “Singing is a gift from Him, and I cultivate it and use for His glory, seeking Him first in everything.” Anyone and everyone who has ever heard Carr lift his voice and begin to sing understands the power, the special talent and beauty he projects in his vocals.
