The Historical Waters of White Sulphur Springs
When it comes to local historical sites, White Sulphur Springs tops the list as one of the most interesting stories and landmarks of the area. At one time owned and maintained by the State of Louisiana, the springs are currently privately owned and today, a small plot of cleared land and an aging gazebo setting just off LA highway 8 are the only remnants that mark the historical site for passersby.
