Could America Be Next?

Could America Be Next?

The surprise attack on the nation of Israel over the weekend has caused many to recognize the vulnerability of the United States.

On Saturday, Hamas, backed by Iran, led a massive invasion operation that included thousands of Hamas and Islamic jihad terrorists using hang gliders and trucks to cross the Israeli border at the Gaza Strip.

During their attacks, they killed over 1,000 people – the majority innocent civilians – by way of bombs, from execution style, many while sleeping in their beds, to beheading them, wounded over 2,000, raped women and children and took hostages.

The Israeli Ambassador called them “animal- like terrorists,” “barbaric” and “savages.” He said this was Israel’s “9/11.”

Before I go any further, let me make one important point: I do not like President Biden or any of the decisions he and his administration have made. I feel as though he is the worst President in our nation’s history and has advanced a Godless agenda that will take a national spiritual awakening to restore. However, right now, I am praying harder for him than ever before.

I understand that according to the Bible, Israel is God’s chosen people. I personally believe that the only thing that is holding off total destruction of the U.S.A. has been the fact that we have always been a strong support of Israel.

I’m praying that President Biden and all national leaders do not abandon Israel, now or in the future. This war is certain to continue for many years and unlike Ukraine, this war holds in the balance the future of the United States, depending upon how we respond and continue to respond.

The invasion of Israel at their southern border has caused many to recognize the vulnerability of the U.S.A. at its southern border.

Estimates put the number of the illegal invaders at our southern border at over 8-million. To date, more than 100 individuals on our terrorists watch list have been captured trying to cross into the United States. We have no way of knowing how many have made it into our nation undetected.

Reports of fighting age men from nations around the world, including China and terrorist groups from the Middle East, are well documented and despite Biden’s recent announcement that he is going to start building portions of the border wall, the fact remains that the southern border continues to be wide-open with record numbers illegally crossing every day.

As I listened and watched the reports this past weekend, I heard one former U.S. Army general put it into perspective. He noted that because Israel’s southern border had become relaxed, it was easy for Hamas to simply come across and have their will upon the innocent people living near the border.

Imagine if you will, such an orchestrated attack occurring at America’s southern border. Imagine the images we watch happening in Israel taking place in El Paso, Eagle Pass, Brownsville or even San Diego.

With our open border policy, such a horrific event is not that hard to imagine. Yes, I know the dynamics are different, but with the Cartels controlling much of Mexico, especially the area along the U.S./Mexico border, it is a completely possible scenario.

We all know that as much as Israel is hated around the world, just as many people- groups and nations hate the United States. We stand against everything they are for; we serve an entirely different God than they serve and our values and quest for freedom are totally contrary to theirs. The many nations that are openly and quietly celebrating the invasion of Israel would do the same if something similar happened in America.

Oh, I know what some are thinking: “This is the United States. No one would ever dare attack us on our soil!” Two counterpoints to that thought: First, no one would have thought September 11, 2001 would ever occur but it did; and second, not a single person in Israel believed that such an attack as this weekend would have ever taken place either. But it did.

To me, shutting down our southern border is paramount to the stability of our country. To be honest, at first, my concern was the economic and political implications that the open border brings, but after this weekend, I realize what a national security threat the open border is for all Americans.

There needs to be an immediate reaction from our political leaders to make the border situation a top priority and shut it down completely. Next, we need to systematically begin the process of finding the millions of people who are in our country illegally and send them back to their homelands.

President Biden needs to be held accountable for his neglect of duty, one that I personally believe is one of the greatest impeachable offenses he has committed.

Article 4, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution states: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.”

As Chuck Floyd so aptly wrote: “This was to guarantee that each state of the union was protected against invasion by foreign nations, revolutionary forces, drug cartels and uncontrolled (illegal) immigration. If we cannot control our borders, we cannot defend our national sovereignty…it’s that simple.”

Pray for Israel. Pray for the U.S.A. For the sake of our children and grandchildren… pray. Without divine intervention, what is happening in Israel could one day become a reality in America.
