Floyd Schillinger

A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in the Olla Cemetery in Olla, LA under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita W. Schillinger, his parents and his brother Charles John Schillinger.

Those left to love and miss him include his sister, Shirley Ann Miller of Georgetown, TX; two nieces, Karen Schillinger of Shreveport, LA and Vicki Schillinger of Houston, TX; one nephew, David Miller of Atlanta, GA; his extended family the Loes; and a lifetime of friends.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Loe, Reggie Loe, Jim Loe, Jim Justiss, Adam Williams and Dwan Stringer.

Honorary pallbearers were Jim McCartney and Dan Stringer.

Floyd Horace Schillinger, 91, of Trout, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

He was born November 29, 1931 in Quincy, Illinois to the union of his parents, Horace Thomas Schillinger and Mary Caroline McCormick Schillinger.
