LaSalle Falls to Logansport

The LaSalle Tigers traveled to Logansport this past Friday night to take on the Logansport High Tigers. Logansport is currently ranked #2 in Division 4 Non-Select power points. LaSalle came into this matchup as the underdog.

The LaSalle Tigers did find some success moving the football in the first half against the huge defense of Logansport. The Tigers were able to use a bunch formation and run the ball directly at Logansport, and while this did not score any points, it did show that the LaSalle offense could move the football.

LaSalle’s only score of the game came when Kendryk Morrow found Justin Valentine in the endzone for a 22-yard pass connection.

LaSalle has nothing to be down about with this game as Logansport has dominated every team they have played this year.

LaSalle will gear up for game nine this coming Thursday night, as Northwood-Lena will be coming to town for the final home game of the season.

During Thursday’s game, all senior participants from football, band, dance and cheer will be honored. These student-athletes will be in the spotlight so come out and cheer on these students as they have worked so hard to bring you a great season and make this community proud.

If you cannot attend the game, tune in to Sandlot Sports Network as Jason Peppers will bring all the play-by-play action of the Tigers. Hope to see you at the Games.
