Mac Coleman

Allen McDougald “Mac” Coleman, 59, of Jena, passed from this life on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

He was born September 24, 1964 in Alexandria, LA to the union of his parents, Allen Davis Coleman and Pat McDougald Coleman.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 19, 2023, in the Woodland Cemetery on Hwy. 84 east of Jena, with Bro. Johnnie Phillips officiating, under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Loftin Coleman; his parents; grandparents, Edgar Allen Coleman & Margaret Inez Allen Coleman, Thomas A. McDougald & Etta McDougald; aunt, Mary Sue Burlew; and two brothers, Jeff Morace and Andre Morace.

Those left to cherish his memory include three sisters, Terri Ayers, Kathy Vincent, both of Jena and LaVonne Baddeaux of Sandy Lake; brother, AA Morace, of the Little Creek Community; aunt, Margaret Ruth McCartney of Wetumpka, AL; uncle, Jimmy M. Coleman of Bossier City, LA; six nieces, Dawn Masters, Kaci Ayers, Kerri Vincent, Meagan Morace, Breanna Morace and Gabby Morace; seven nephews, John Allen Barrett, Austin Morace, Patrick Baddeaux, Kyle Baddeaux, Chase Morace, Gray Morace and Zack Morace; and numerous great nieces, great nephews and other family and friends.

Pallbearers were John Allen Barrett, Sean Masters, Andrew Masters, Charlie Barrett, Randy Carson, Robby Friend and Dale Parrott.
