Bayou Jamb and the Marines have teamed up to bring the Bayou Jamb Roads – a traveling spirit stick making its way to high schools in North Louisiana. At the end of the football season, one school will be awarded $500 to be used for spirit promotions for the student section the following year. The Bayou Jamb traveling spirit stick was at Jena High School last Friday for their pep rally as they prepared to take on rival Caldwell Parish. Though all Jena students showed their Giant spirit with an impressive black light pep rally, it was the sophomore class that received the traveling spirit stick award. They are now in the running for the end of the year grand prize award of $500 for most overall spirit.
