Danny Earl Brown, Sr., 78, of Jena, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

He was born February 6, 1945 in Mc-Comb, MS to the union of his parents, Earl Lee Brown and Edith Nell Wallace Brown.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Crain and Bro. Daren Smith officiating.

Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Kinner & Stevens.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Garry Brown.

Those left to love and miss him include his son, Danny E. Brown, Jr. (Lisa) of Jena; two daughters, Dawn Brown of Jena, Hannah Brown Crain (Brian) of Baton Rouge; sister, Kay Brown Johnson of Bogue Chitto, MS; brother Edward “Eddie” Brown, of Bogue Chitto, MS; four granddaughters, Callie Brown Smith, Brittany Ewing Emfinger, Jessie Ewing and Kristin Ewing; three grandsons, Ethan Brown, James Crain and Jordan Crain; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers were Ethan Brown, Dustin Emfinger, Matthew Cruse, Austin Thompson, Jonathan Peppers, Dustin Emfinger, Jr., Kyler Emfinger and Greyson Smith.

Honorary pallbearers were James Crain and Jordan Crain.
