Retired longtime Tullos Volunteer Fire Chief Darwin Fife was inducted into the Louisiana Fire Chiefs Hall of Fame during a ceremony and banquet held in Lafayette on October 25. The Hall of Fame members are voted on by members of the Louisiana 1st Responders Christian Association. Fife served the Town of Tullos for many years as a volunteer fire fighter and fire chief, along with many other service projects and organizations benefiting not only Tullos, but all of LaSalle Parish.
