Dear Editor,

I would like to acknowledge the newspaper reporters that sit through every single town meeting patiently.

Some towns have short meetings and some have long, drawn out meetings. Either way, the reporter your paper sends, both in the past and present, diligently sits steadfast through it all every month.

This doesn’t include the time they spend at festivals, ballgames, community gatherings, etc. That all takes patience and I just wanted to say “Thank you” to them.

It is one of those jobs that takes a tremendous amount of work but is not acknowledged enough.
