Drive-Thru Christmas Lights Opens Near Jena

LaSalle Parish is now home to a brandnew Christmas event as a drive-thru Christmas lights feature is now open on LA 459 (Aimwell Road).

Christmasville, the creation of Brandi Eubanks and Misty Stringer, is a quarter mile road with hundreds of lights sure to delight the young and old during the Christmas season.

To get to Christmasville from Jena, head north on LA 459 for 2.5 miles and the entrance is clearly marked. The road is one-way only and everyone is asked to please drive very slow and do not get out of vehicles.

Christmasville is open Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, from 5:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.

The drive-thru light show is free to attend, however, a donation box is located at the entrance for those wishing to donate to help with electricity and lights.

The lights were designed by Brandi and Misty, however, all of their families assisted in the assembly and placements.

“We had help from Kristie, Hailey and Daisi and of couse, Mike and all the boys helped with the heavier stuff,” Brandi said. “We wanted to provide something for our community and we hope this helps brighten everyone’s day as we celebrate Christmas.”

Nearly 100,000 lights line the road decorated in various themes. It is an experience that all of LaSalle Parish can enjoy.
