• Olla Christmas Parade – Saturday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. Ms. Merry Christmas crowning at 5:15. Crowning and parade starts at Olla Elementary School; Anyone can enter a float; line-up is 5:30 p.m.

TULLOS

• Senior Citizen Christmas Party and Dinner – Thursday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Tullos (Fellowship Hall); Menu: Fried turkey, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, apple cobbler and other desserts; RSVP by Dec. 3 – Call Town Hall (318) 534-6499; Food delivery can be requested.

URANIA

• Santa in the Square – Thursday, Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. in the Urania Town Square; Santa and the Grinch; Urania Pentecostal Church will sing and serve BBQ sandwiches; Cookies, hot chocolate, lemonade and a photo booth

• Christmas Lighting Contest – Judging: Friday, Dec.

15; Winners Announced: Saturday, Dec. 16; cash prizes; Call or visit Town Hall to sign up to participate.; Contest categories: Best Theme, Brightest Display, Most Creative and Most Beautiful.
