Rodger Bratton Sr.

one years before he retired. Rodger was a member of Steel Horse Ministers of Olla, LA, and a founding member and beloved elder of Straight Road Full Gospel Church in Olla.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Riser Funeral Home in Olla, LA, with the Rev. John Norwood officiating.

Interment will follow in the Little Star Cemetery, Holum, LA, under the direction of Riser Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shirley Bratton and Wanda Sue Ford; and a brother, Douglas Bratton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-two years, Janet Cassels Bratton; three sons, Rodger Bratton Jr. (Christina), Matthew Bratton (Anne) and Tyler Bratton; grandchildren, Brooklyn Wyant (Kane), Daley Jordan (Cory Holten), Kirsten Cain (Dillon), Kelsey Clark (Matthew), Destin Bratton (Celeste) and Mead Hess Jr.; thirteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Millard Bratton (Pat), Larry Bratton (Mel) and Paul Bratton (Pearl); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Matthew Clark, Dillon Cain, Kane Wyant, Cory Holten, Deston Bratton and Mead Hess Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Mitch Bratton and Jonathan Walton.

Rodger Lee Bratton Sr., 76, passed from this life on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in Alexandria, LA.

He was born October 6, 1947 in Columbia to the union of his parents, Millard Bratton and Wanda James Bratton.
